Frauekirche (Church of Our Lady) is one of Munich's most famous
landmarks. The cathedral's twin towers took 20 years to build
and were completed in 1488. In 1524 the green onion domes were
added to the towers to compete the church we now see today.
You may climb one of the towers for an excellent view of downtown
Munich.
The Church is open Saturday-Thursday 7am-7pm, Fridays 7am-4pm.
The South Tower is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm (April-October).
